Tyra Banks Is Casting A Latinx, Transgender Model For ModelLand

Tyra Banks is casting a Latinax, transgender model for the character of Rainn in her upcoming theme park Modelland. Based on the book Tyra wrote (the first in a proposed trilogy has been published), the Modelland theme park will be half shopping complex, half ticketed amusement park where everyone will get to experience the model life. Tyra is a groundbreaker in the modeling industry and not only pushed barriers and boundaries in her own career but has made modeling more accessible to the masses by removing some of its exclusivity. That will only increase more once Modelland becomes a tangible, brick and mortar experience for people of all ages.

Tyra recently spoke about Modelland and said it was a dream come true. Now that she is going to be bringing her characters to life, she has made several casting calls. She’s also warning those who are interested in landing a role in Modelland of scams. Apparently, there have been scam-artists out there trying to lure people in pretending they represent Tyra Banks and Modelland where they have no affiliation whatsoever.

There is an official casting call on Backstage that lists all the job openings and those who are interested can find more information on both Tyra Banks’ and Modelland’s official social media pages such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Those who are interested should check out the Backstage casting call where Tyra and Ryan Shaw are looking for talent. It should be noted these are non-paying gigs.

The backstage ad reads as follows.
