Tiffany Haddish Talks About Her Dinner Date With Drake
Tiffany Haddish and Common had recently confirmed they are in a relationship and they’re very happy together. Haddish admitted that being with Common has helped her feel more confident.
“I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it. I’m just way happier and it’s like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back.”
However, in an interview with Luenell for VladTV, she recalled that she almost dated Drake. She talked about the first time she met Drake and how their friendship began.
It was 2018 when Tiffany and other celebs appeared in his video “Nice for What.” The comedian recalls it all started with Drake sending her some messages that she hadn’t even noticed until he told her about them.
“I had no relationship with Drake whatsoever,” Tiffany Haddish added, saying, “I would explore it if he was trying to… What kind of personality do he got? What’s the tea with him? He had slid in my DMs, I had no idea. I ran into him at a party and he was like, ‘Man, I was in your DMs. I’m trying to get you to do my music video.'”
He told her he wanted to take her to dinner but then a “family emergency” occurred and he had to postpone it. Tiffany believed it was about his son with Sophie Brussaux. Then, Luenell can be heard in the background saying that she would have also “risked” to have Drake’s baby. Check out the interview here.

She revealed that she had always wanted to do it “For years I’ve been talking about cutting my hair,” said the comedian. “And you know this whole quarantine and everything made me think, Well, why not now? I’m not going to be on any red carpets. And if I do have to be on something, they always put me in wigs anyways, and now the wigs fit better. So I was just like, ‘Let’s go for it.’”
