Star: Is Jennifer Garner pregnant?

This story comes from Star Magazine, for what it’s worth. And Star added it to their epic coverage of Angelina Jolie’s alleged pregnancy, so it kind of seems like a bullsh-t afterthought. They claim that Jennifer Garner is pregnant for the third time! Which, much like Angelina’s alleged pregnancy, is not entirely beyond the realm of possibility. Jennifer has never said that she and Ben plan to stop at two kids, and it’s long been rumored that Ben Affleck is hellbent on having a son. Here’s more from Star:

An insider tells Star that Jennifer Garner, 38, is pregnant with her third child. Her husband Ben Affleck, 37, “had been lobbying Jen for another child, and she finally gave in! Ben really wants a boy to complete their family.”

One thing Jennifer doesn’t want: to pack on the pounds! While out shopping in Pacific Palisades on April 11, the actress was overheard chatting on her phone with a friend.

“She was saying that she is determined not to gain 40 lbs. again, like she did with her last pregnancy,” a fellow shopper tells Star.

I would also think that Jennifer would be worried about her career. Between Jennifer and Ben, Jennifer is the one who works more as an actor, and she’s the real breadwinner of the family. When she got pregnant with Seraphina, many of her potential projects had to be put on hold or passed off to other actresses. She currently has 7 films in various stages of pre-production, so it’s probably not the best time for her to have another baby. That being said, I don’t think Jennifer would mind having another baby. She seems to love being a mom, so, like I said, it’s not totally impossible that she’s pregnant again.

Star Mag put up a photo of Jennifer’s alleged “bump”. They seem to be from this grouping, of Jennifer on April 3, out and about in LA. I’m not seeing a “bump” in these photos – she just looks skinny, as always. Maybe she was just a little gassy for a second:
